Yes, the car seat fabrics are naturally flame-retardant with no added FR chemicals (excluding leatherette accents).

Seawool is a soft, durable, and eco-luxury fabric made from recycled* polyester and upcycled* oyster shells. It feels like Merino wool, but is breathable, odor-resistant, and safe to machine wash and dry.
*Seawool fabric is made from 49.2% recycled polyester, 21.3% recycled polyester blended with oyster shells, and 29.5% polyester.

Shellfish allergies are triggered by the "meat" of the marine animal, not the shell. Oyster shells are bone-like and primarily composed of calcium. During the Seawool creation process, the upcycled oyster shells are heated to over 1,000 °F for multiple hours, then they are crushed and added to recycled polyester to create Seawool yarn. To be safe, however, we suggest talking to an allergist if you have specific concerns.

Yes. While the solid knits and leatherette accents on the Tura stroller, Veni convertible car seat, Juni infant car seat, and Sera bassinet are all partially constructed from Seawool, the mélange fabrics and mesh accents are derived from recycled polyester.

Yes. All Romer car seat soft goods, in addition to stroller inserts and bassinet liners, are safe to machine wash and dry. The stroller frame and car seat shells can also be easily wiped clean with mild soap and water. Always refer to the care label or user guide for specific maintenance instructions.

Tura™ Stroller

The Tura stroller is suitable from birth (with an infant car seat or bassinet) up to 50 lbs and 44" tall. Use only with an infant car seat or bassinet until your child has developed sufficient head and neck control. The reversible toddler seat supports both parent-facing and forward-facing modes for flexibility as your child grows. For infant strolling options, pair the Tura with the Romer Juni™ infant car seat or Sera™ bassinet. For rear-facing mode, the positioning layer must be folded down for children weighing between 5 and 40 lbs. It may be folded up or down for children weighing between 40 and 50 lbs.
For forward-facing mode, the positioning layer must be folded down for children weighing between 30 and 40 lbs. It may be folded up or down for children weighing between 40 and 65 lbs.
For booster mode, the positioning layer must be folded up.

The rear-facing lower connector installation method is approved for children up to 30 lbs. After that, install using the seat belt.

The forward-facing lower connector installation method is approved for children up to 35 lbs. After that, install using the seat belt. Britax recommends connecting the top tether when installing the seat forward-facing.

SecureLoc™ auto-tensions and locks the vehicle seat belt for you, simplifying the process and helping to ensure a secure installation.
